E. Cristián Fox
He joined Allende & Brea in 2003. A specialist in commercial and corporate law, he has worked on a number of complex matters, advising local and international firms on the restructuring of debts, the sale and purchase of bankrupt companies and similar cases. He has also been involved in solving corporate conflicts including cases taken to independent arbitration.
Mr. Fox was named partner of the firm in December 2005.
Prior to joining Allende & Brea he worked in the National Civil Law Courts (1989-1993) and in different law firms in Buenos Aires, specializing in commercial matters, up to the time he rejoined the National Courts as Secretary in charge of Secretariat #8, in the National Court of First Instance (Commercial) #4 (1998-2003).
Mr. Fox graduated in 1993 from the “Universidad de Buenos Aires” and in 1998 obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Law from the Economics and Business Administration School in Buenos Aires (ESEADE). He also teaches graduate and post-graduate courses on business law at various universities and professional associations. He fluently speaks English and Portuguese.
He has been cited as a leading practitioner in Dispute Resolution, Litigation and Bankruptcy law by, among others, Chambers & Partners Global, Chambers Latin America and The Legal 500 Latin America.
