Marcos Patrón Costas

Marcos obtained his law degree from the Law School of “Universidad Austral”, and obtained a masters degree from University of Virginia School of Law, with a focus on business law.

He also attended the Post-graduate Specialization on Legal and Economic Structure of Energy Regulation of the School of Law of the University of Buenos Aires.  

Marcos worked as an International Attorney at the New York office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, advising local and foreign companies on corporate matters and sovereign governments in debt securities offerings.

He regularly advises local and international clients, in a broad range of corporate matters, dedicating most of his time to mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and project finance, with a special focus on energy and infrastructure matters, including renewable energy, nuclear and conventional generation projects and transmission lines.

He is a member of the Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires and the International Bar Association (Section of Energy, Environment, Natural Resources and Infrastructure).
