Fernando Martínez Zuviría
Mr. Martínez Zuviría joined Allende & Brea after graduating magna cum laude from Universidad Austral in 2005. He attended the Academy of American and International Law at the Center for American and International Law, Texas, U.S., in 2007. On May 2012 he obtained a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, U.S., and between 2012 and 2013 he worked at Holland & Knight LLP law firm in Miami.
His practice focuses on assisting laboratories and medical devices manufacturers on their daily operations in corporate, contractual and regulatory matters. In particular, he advised our clients in drafting and negotiating manufacture, license, agency and distribution agreements, and in a number of local and cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures, divestitures, reorganizations and public tenders. He has conducted legal and regulatory due diligence, drafted and negotiated the acquisition agreements, and filed the relevant procedures with the National Administration of Drugs, Foods and Medical Devices (ANMAT) and with the Federal and Provincial Ministries of Health required to apply or transfer the products’ marketing authorizations and to secure the regulatory approvals to operate laboratories and deposits. His practice also includes advice on regulatory issues related to records and permits to import, sale and distribute drugs and medical devices in the country.
He is a member of the City of Buenos Aires Bar Association.
